Is it cheaper to make or buy a quilt?
Making a quilt by hand is a labor of love, but is it cheaper than buying one? As a quilter, I can tell you that the answer is not as clear-cut as you might think. Sure, the materials may cost less, but the hours upon hours of stitching, cutting, and piecing can add up. But the feeling of wrapping yourself in a quilt you handcrafted yourself is priceless.
